WALLINGFORD - Amy Elizabeth "Betty" Northrop, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2016, at the Quinnipiac Valley Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Clayton Northrop.
Betty was born on April 9, 1920 to the late Charles and Lucy Wingood Freeman. She was a life long resident of Wallingford.
Betty is survived by her daughter: Patricia Northrop of Wallingford, and her niece: Barbara Gannon of MA.
All services are private and at the convenience of her family. Interment will take place at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
