Anni Reuter Tribute
MERIDEN - Anni Reuter, 92, formerly of Clearfield Dr. in Meriden and Wallingford died October, 29, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late Karl L. Reuter.
Anni was born in Germany, May 22, 1922 a daughter of the late Karl A. and Hermine Doepke Schmidt. Predeceased by her sister Ilse Abraham.
Mrs. Reuter had been a resident of Peekskill, NY for many years until moving to CT. in 1985. She had been a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Wallingford.
She is survived by two sons, Herbert Schmidt of Germany and Karl Heinz Reuter of New York, three daughters, Edith (Edward) Farley of Branford, Irma LiVigni of Meriden, Margarete Jenkins of Wappingers Falls, NY, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in Germany and the U.S.A.
Funeral services will be private, held in the chapel of the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St. Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Peekskill. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.gofundme.com/helpforsamlivigni for Sammy's Medical Fund or any charity of choice.
