Arthur Uylaky Tribute

MERIDEN - Arthur C. Uylaky, 81, of Meriden, departed this life on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Southington Care Center. He was the loving husband of Sarah (Thomas) Uylaky.
Arthur was born on March 7, 1933, in Roebling, NJ, a son of the late Arthur and Julia (Kovacs) Uylaky.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He attended the Central Connecticut State University, he worked for Cytec Industries, where he was the Training Coordinator. He was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a well-loved member of the First United Methodist Church in Meriden.
In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his daughters: Darla Uylaky-McKee and her husband Steven McKee of Meriden, Sarah J. St. Onge and her husband Stephen Weinstock of Glen Ridge, NJ, Brenda Rediker of Indian Springs, MO; a son: Norman St. Onge and his wife Daina of Knoxville, TN; and grandchildren: Daniel and his wife Cari Uylaky, Gabriel Weinstock, John and Hope, Ashley and Bryce.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Meriden at 159 East Main St. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Missions Fund at the First United Methodist Church of Meriden, 15 Pleasant St., Meriden, CT 06450. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at MidState Medical Center and Comprehensive Dialysis for all of their care and attention to Arthur.
