Craig Guartafierro Tribute
WALLINGFORD - Craig T. Guartafierro, 50, of Wallingford, entered into rest on September 4, 2014, at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden.
Craig was born in Bristol, PA, to his loving parents Thomas and Carol Guartafierro of Wallingford. Living most of his life in Wallingford, he was a graduate of Sheehan High School.
Craig had recently retired from A and A Drywall and Acoustics, in Milford, where he had been employed for over 30 years. He was an avid guitar player, and enjoyed all kinds of music, especially the Beatles. Craig was a regular attendee of the Heritage Baptist Church in Wallingford.
Besides his parents, Craig is survived by two siblings: Kim Guartafierro of Fairfield, and Kyle (Jen) Guartafierro of Groton; He also leaves one nephew: Tyler Guartafierro, and one niece: Caitlin Guartafierro, both of OH. Craig will be missed by his extended family, along with his close friends, Jerry and Dave.
A celebration of Craig's life will be held at a later date, and will be private at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Craig's memory can be directed to the Heritage Baptist Church, 161 South Whittlesey Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
