WALLINGFORD - Dominic M. Cusano, 26, of Wallingford, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his home.
Dominic was born on November 5, 1987 in Meriden, a son of David and Zoraida (Del Valle) Cusano. He was a 2006 graduate of Sheehan High School and later obtained his Master's Degree from the University of Maine in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Besides his study, he was a scholar athlete and competed in Football, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. Dominic was currently training to compete professionally in Track and Field. He was employed as a track coach at Bishop Feehan School. He enjoyed motorcycles, classic cars, playing guitar, and his dog Zeus. His strong religious faith was reflected in his art.
He will be sadly missed by his parents: David and Zoraida Cusano of Wallingford, his brothers: David Cusano Jr. and his fianceĢ Katie Souviney of Wallingford, and Pasquale Cusano of Wallingford. Dominic also leaves his beloved nephew, Malachi Cusano of Wallingford in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and "A" Street.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, March 14th from 4 - 8 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St, Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 15th at 10:30 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. Those attending the Mass are asked to meet directly at the Church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
