Francis "Jake" LeBarron

WALLINGFORD - Francis LeBarron, 81, departed this life on October 3, 2016 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. He was the beloved husband of 58 years of Joan (Rose) LeBarron.
Francis was born in Meriden on February 1, 1935 to the late Alva and Mary (Folan) LeBarron.
Francis was a veteran of the US Army and had worked as an operator for Cytec Industries for 39 years and had worked for Gaylord Hospital. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Meriden. He was a member of the LHHS Class of 1954 Reunion Committee. He also was the past president of the Quinnipiac Campers.
In addition to his wife, Francis is survived by his daughters Patricia Zemke and her husband Robert of Wallingford, Nancy Coppola of Meriden; grandchildren: Ssg. Sean Zemkeand his wife Sfc. Electra of Maryland, Jessica LeBarron and her fiancé David Cunningham of Wallingford, Adam Zemke and his wife Joslyn of Meriden, Eric Gaudette and Kristyn Ward of Wallingford, Travis Coppola of Wallingford, Amy Coppola of Meriden; and great grandchildren Keana, Aidan, Jaxon, Alivia and Erin. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen LeBarron.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Meriden. Interment will be in the Center Street Cemetery in Wallingford at a later date.
