ANDERSON, SC - Helen T. Huth, 89, of Anderson, SC and formerly of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Herbert Huth, departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence.
Helen was born on November 17, 1925 in New Haven, CT daughter of the late Gustav Thynell and Ida Teresa Anderson.
Helen graduated from Hamden High School in 1943 and the University of New Haven with an Associate's degree in Science. Helen worked for the UI Company, JBT Instruments and Nathan N. Vishno Public Accountants.
Helen volunteered at the Wallingford Senior Center for many years, played Scrabble there and helped to win several Scrabble tournaments.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Thomson of Pelzer, SC.
All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park in Hamden. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
