John Flom

John Eric Flom, 54, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is the son of the late Roy Flom, and Marjorie (McCoy) Flom of Meriden, CT. He is survived by 2 daughters, Megan Flom and Lindsay Flom both of Georgetown. Also survived by 2 sisters, Cindy Czaplinski of Wallingford, CT, and Kathy Bainer of North Branford, CT, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He graduated from North Branford High School in North Branford, CT in 1979, and American International College in Springfield in 1983. He was a financial advisor for Citizens Bank. He loved golfing, rooting for Boston sports teams, and playing practical jokes. Family and friends will remember his Irish charm and the way he always made everyone laugh.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 9:30am at the First Congregational Church in Topsfield, MA with collation to follow at the Gould Barn in Topsfield, MA (across the street from the church). C. Bailey Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
