Rita Lund Tribute

WALLINGFORD - Rita M. Lund, 90, formerly of Meriden, departed this life on June 3, 2015 at MidState Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Lund.
Rita was born on June 1, 1925, in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Henry and Yvonne (LaVoie) LaFreniere. She was a woman of deep faith and had been a member of the Heritage Baptist Church.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Richard and his wife Karen of Middletown, Thomas of Hamden, James and his wife Jean of Meriden, Joan Fernandez and her husband Rolando of Wallingford, and Susan Morassini and her husband of Meriden. Rita is also survived by her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Norman and Maurice and sister Annette.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, June 8, 2015 at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford from 9:00 - 10:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
