Virginia J. Sypek

CHESHIRE - Virginia J. Steele Sypek, 85, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 12, 2016, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Lloyd Steele Jr., and John Sypek.
Virginia enjoyed working as a bus driver for Walls Transportation and later Double A in Wallingford and retired from Gaylord Hospital. She was an avid volunteer for the VFW in both the Wallingford and Yalesville Posts, she was also a member of the American Legion Post 45 in Meriden.
Virginia will be sadly missed by her daughter Jayne Krasney, and son Bob (Marcela) Steele, all of Cheshire. She also leaves her grand-daughter Kelly Krasney and great grand-daughter Ruby, as well as grand-daughters Valentina and Geraldine, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street in Wallingford. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 12:30 PM. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford.
