WALLINGFORD - Walter F. Polanski, 104, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was the loving husband of the late Alice Matyas Polanski.
Walter was born in Wallingford, February 14, 1913 a son of the late John and Margaret (Uriga) Polanski. He was a lifelong resident of Wallingford and worked as a foreman at many different silver companies in the area. He was a communicant of the Church of the Resurrection.
Walter is survived by son Kenneth Polanski of Wallingford, grandson Marc Polanski, great-grandson Riley Polanski, and great-granddaughter Alana Polanski. He was predeceased by son Robert (Seth) Polanski, sister Josephine Service and brother Henry Polanski.
A private graveside service will be held at the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford. If friends so desire, gifts in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. The B.C.
