Leonard John Yelenak Jr.

Leonard John Yelenak, Jr. "Lenny", passed from this life on April 16, 2024 at the age of 63. Lenny was born in New Britain on September 20, 1960, son of the late Leonard and Florence (Stefanski) Yelenak.

Lenny left this world with no shortage of great memories. As a youth, being the youngest and only boy in a house with three older sisters, he quickly learned how to get away with anything. He could always make his family burst into laughter and would occasionally give them a run for their money. Lenny Worked for Electronic Coil and was an auto mechanic at R G Motorsports until it closed. He loved a good ride on his Harley, and prized his personal time.

Lenny is survived by his daughter, Ashley Yelenak and her children, Hunter and Hailey, all of Terryville; three sisters, Joanne Bienkowski of Beacon Falls, Suzanne Wisk-Guile and her husband Robert Guile of Salisbury, MD and Diane Niegos and her husband John of La Porte, IN along with two generations of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Carl Bienkowski.

Services will be private and have been entrusted to the Bailey Funeral Home of Plainville, 48 Broad St., Plainville, CT.
