Marie Louise Papallo

MERIDEN - Marie Louise Papallo, 90, departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Meriden Healthcare Center. Marie was born in Hartford, CT on May 9, 1929 to the late George and Mary (Papalo) Mammolitti.

 In her earlier years, Marie was a Wallingford Auxiliary Police Officer and was an active member of 'Parents without Partners.' Marie also worked for Eyelet Specialty of Wallingford and Pratt & Whitney of Middletown.

 Marie is survived by her children: Diane Flanders of Bristol, Joanne Noster and Alfred Noster both of Meriden, Steven Kafka and his wife Linda of Wallingford, Sandra Kafka of New Haven and Robin Cushwa and her husband Roger of Simomton, TX. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Ben Flanders, Jamey Flanders, Samantha Flanders, Joey Kafka, Chris Kafka, Daniel Cushwa, Nancy Cushwa and Cathryn Cushwa, as well as three great-grandchildren: Tyler Flanders, Nicole Flanders and Makaila Rowell. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her stepfather, Nicholas Papallo; her son, Joseph Kafka and her sister, Connie Casey.

 Marie's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Meriden Center for the wonderful care that was shown.

 A graveside service will be held for Marie at 10AM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Road in Meriden. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
