Aaron William Sarra, age 49, passed away on January 21, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Deanna (Sitkowski) Sarra.
Aaron was born in New Britain, CT to the late John Sarra and Lorna (Burke) Sarra, who were missionaries in Zambia, Africa.
Aaron attended high school at St. Paul High School in Bristol, CT and then went on to attend college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where he was a history major, Aaron furthered his education by attending the University of Dayton, School of Law in Dayton, OH. Upon graduating from law school, Aaron worked for a couple of law firms but eventually opened up his own law firm to spend more time with his family.
Aaron sat on Plainville’s Planning and Zoning Commission for over 15 years and was a member of BNI, a small business networking group. Aaron was also a high school wrestling coach and spent many hours coaching his kids and others on various sports teams.
In addition to his wife, Aaron is survived by his children Grant, Mason and Amelia; his sister Tashann Dunn and her husband Mathew; and his sister Sherrie Watson, her husband Jay and their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on February 6, 2021 at 1pm at Emmanual Baptist Church in Newington.
