Andrea Elizabeth Donovan

MADISON - Andrea Elizabeth Donovan, 81, departed this life peacefully in her sleep on October 26, 2023. Andrea was born in Webster, Massachusetts on December 30, 1941, to the late Frank and Marion (Donnelly) Donovan. Andrea is survived by two sisters: Marion Donovan and Elizabeth Dunn (Donovan), sister-in-law, Patty Donovan, brother, Sean Donovan and her nephew, Wayne Donovan. Andrea is also survived by a community of lifelong friends. She is predeceased by her two brothers, Peter Wayne Donovan at 37 years of age and Matthew Donovan at 67 years of age. 

Her life was dedicated to service having taught 30 years as a high school English teacher in Wallingford, followed by several years as a personal assistant for special needs students in Madison. Andrea took every opportunity to serve her faith, community, family, and those in need.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 20, 2023 at 10am at the Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 N. Colony Road Wallingford, CT.  Those who wish to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The B.C.
