Camille (Caiazza) Fritz

CHESHIRE - Camille Caiazza Fritz, a devoted educator and beloved wife, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, at the age of 83. Born in Middletown to Casto and Constance Caiazza, Camille's life was marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, her friends, and her community.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Annhurst College and a Master's of Education from the University of Hartford, Camille had a fulfilling career in education. She taught in the Wallingford Public Schools for several years before dedicating 12 years to serving as Director of the Holy Angels Pre-K program in South Meriden.

Camille's legacy is carried on by her husband of 61 years, Robert, her sons Robert, John, and Christopher, daughter-in-law Christine Hickey, and her cherished grandchildren Lindsey, Callie, Benjamin, and Robert.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held in her honor at Saint Bridget of Sweden Church at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.  Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery.  The BC Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with Camille’ s final arrangements.
