Claire B Rohon

PLAINVILLE - Claire B. (Zebrowski) Rohon, of Plainville, died Thursday January 20, 2022.  She was born, and raised, in New Britain where she attended local schools and became a member of the National Honor Society.  After she, and her late husband Henry Rohon, raised their five children Claire returned to a career outside the home.  She was employed at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, and Hartford State Technical College until she retired in 1988.

In addition to a few overseas vacations, she and Henry enjoyed relaxing in Ogunquit, Maine and Cape Cod, Massachusetts savoring the local seafood.

Claire was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Henry; sons David and Kevin Rohon; and daughter Andrea Principato (Rohon).

Claire is survived by sons Neil Rohon of Rocky Hill, and Daniel Rohon of Plainville.  As well as nieces Judi Bryant of Wethersfield, and Kathleen Clayton of Glastonbury; daughter-in-law Beverly Rohon of Florida, former daughter-in-law Anna Cormier of Southington; two grand-children, and wonderful neighbors Paul Giannini and Sandra Breault.

Family and friends may visit Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St, Plainville on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 11 am - 12 pm.  A funeral service will be held at 12pm with entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Plainville Community Food Pantry, Inc or the charity of your choice.
