Cynthia D. Haller (65), peacefully left this earth on July 21, 2021. She was the cherished wife of Roy W. Haller.
Cynthia was born in East Haven, CT to William and Beverly Norton. Growing up in Madison, Cynthia graduated from Daniel Hand High School and went on to study at Bay Path University. After college she became an Administrative Assistant within the State of Connecticut's Office of the Chief State's Attorney, working in Wallingford and Hamden, CT. Shortly after, she decided to leave her professional career to become a loving and devoted mother, focusing her time and energy caring for her family.
Among family and friends, she was known as an extremely caring and loving individual. Quick witted, Cyn never refused an opportunity to share a joke or enjoy laughter during her life. Although brief, her battle with cancer was faced head on and fought with laughter and tears. During her fight, Cyn was grateful for the opportunity to spend her remaining time with close family and friends at home.
Besides her husband Roy, Cyn is survived by her two daughters: Sara and Jessica Haller. She also leaves behind her brother Robert Norton and his wife Beverly; her sister-in-law Patricia Carvajal; her brother-in-law Carl Haller and his wife Joanne; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, William and Beverly Norton, she is also predeceased by her parents-in-law William and Hazel Haller; and her nephew Ricardo (Rick) Carvajal.
