Daniel Strachan Tribute
WALLINGFORD - Daniel Strachan, 37, departed this life on December 19, 2014. He was the beloved son of George H. Strachan and Jeanne Biafore.
Daniel was born in Meriden on November 28, 1977 and graduated from North Haven High School. He was an extremely talented carpenter that took great pride in his creations.
In addition to his parents, he will be missed by his stepfather Phil Ortolan, stepmother Marilyn Strachan, sister Anne Marie Gallagher, brother Tom Strachan, grandmother Jennie Ortolan and several aunts and uncles. He also leaves four cats that he treasured.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford, CT 06492. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 10:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. Burial will be private. It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Meriden Humane Society.
