Donna Marie Schwartz

WALLINGFORD- Donna Marie Schwartz, age 62, peacefully passed away on July 3, 2021 after a battle with Interstitial Lung Disease.

It would be wrong to say that Donna lost her battle because she never stopped fighting.  Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.  She was strong until the end.

Donna is survived by her best friend and love of her life Steve Babich of Wallingford, CT.   She leaves behind her two daughters, Jessica Caponigro and her husband Jay of Cromwell, CT, and Tara Schwartz and her partner Drew of Inverness, FL, and her two step-sons, Stephen Babich and his wife Stevie of Meriden, CT, and Josh Babich and his wife Lisa of West Palm Beach, FL.  

Donna loved being a Grammie more than anything.  She leaves behind her five grandchildren, Skye, Zachary, Ezio, Elizabeth, and Ian.

There will be no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of her family.  B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford, CT 273 S. Elm St. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
