Edward J. Faryniarz, 62, of Harwinton passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.
Edward was born on February 27, 1957 in Southington, son to the late Stanley and Agnes (Wisniewski) Faryniarz. He grew up in Southington and was a resident of Harwinton for several years. He furthered his education earning his bachelor’s degree at Clark University. At 6 feet 6 inches, he played on the university basketball team as number 42. He was employed as a computer consultant for Digital Equipment Corporation and later, Hewlett-Packard. He was a very kind, loving, generous man who enjoyed nature walks with his beloved furry companion, Maggie, or fishing at his favorite spot in Weekapaug, Rhode Island. He led a humble life and will forever be remembered by his loving family.
Edward is survived by his son, Michael Faryniarz; his daughters, Katie and Jackie Faryniarz; his sisters, Florence Procko, of Bristol, Patricia Valiante, of Bristol, and MaryAnn Consorte, of Harwinton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
As Edward would request, services in celebration of his life will be celebrated privately amongst his friends and family members.
