Emma Louise (Davis) Atherholt

WALLINGFORD - Emma (Davis) Atherholt, 90 of Wallingford, departed this earth to her heavenly home on March 16, 2023 to join her late husband, Earl.

She was born in Luzerne, PA to Russell and Argenta (Linskill) Davis on April 26, 1932. After marrying the love of her life, Emma became a homemaker, raising her 3 children. She enjoyed sewing, reading and being heavily involved in her church and weekly quilt group.

Emma is survived by her sister Argenta Krazavage of GA, daughters: Carlee and husband Douglas Wolff of NH and Beth Atherholt of New Britain, grandchildren: Matthew and wife Heather Atherholt of Meriden, Kevin and wife Cecilia Wolff of IL and Sarah Wolf of VT. and great-grandson Lukasz Atherholt. She was predeceased by her brother Russell and sister Carley Davis and son Gary Atherholt.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Emma's honor may be given to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. The family would like to thank all the love and support of her friends and church family.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S Elm St., Wallingford. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24th at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Wallingford, 941 Old Rock Hill Rd.
