Gary Thomas Cosgrove Sr., 63, departed this life on July 31, 2021 in Wallingford. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Lanford) Cosgrove.

Gary was born in Meriden, CT on January 1, 1958 to the late Thomas and Marjorie (Gilbert) Cosgrove.

Gary was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Wallingford, CT and the Wallingford Elks Club BPOE #1365.

Gary is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons David Cosgrove with wife Jennie, and Gary Cosgrove Jr. with wife Erica; his grandchildren Salvatore Cosgrove, Michael, James, and Mackenzie Marquardt; his sister Gail Jo-Ann Cosgrove Koles; many nieces and nephews; and his two very close friends Timmy Fekete and John Ginty.

In addition to his parents, Gary is predeceased by his sister Doreen Wilcox.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home (273 South Elm Street Wallingford, CT). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 6:00 PM following calling hours. Interment will be private.
