Helene Tuttle McKeen

Helene (Tuttle) McKeen, 85, departed this life on September 15, 2015. For over sixty years, she was the beloved wife of the late Veikko E. McKeen.
Helene was born in South Paris,ME on March 3, 1930 to William and Avis (Strout) Tuttle.
Helene is survived by her children: Laurence McKeen and his wife Linda of South Carolina, David McKeen and his wife Virginia of Maryland, Valerie Gwara and her husband Paul of Meriden, Rebecca Perrone and her husband Thomas of Wallingford, and Aili McKeen and her husband Bruce Conroy of Wallingford. She also leaves a sister, Lillian Fish of Florida and Maine, as well as six grandchildren: Erica McKeen Bourgeois, Marika McKeen, Lindsey McKeen Pollizotti, Andrew McKeen, Michael McKeen and Steven McKeen, and three great- grandchildren, as well as a large extended family.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 20th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S Elm St., Wallingford. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington CT 06111 or the Michael J.
