WALLINGFORD - Howard H. Bishop, 89, departed this life on February 9, 2019 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Elise (Pendleton) Bishop.
Howard was born in New Britain, CT on December 10, 1929 to the late Harry and Ethel (Church) Bishop. He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering in Chicago and worked for Woodlawn Manufacturing, as a General Manager. After Howard and Elise were married, they settled in Wallingford to start a family of their own.
He is survived by his daughter Kathleen (George) Kaufmann of Westbury, NY and his son Kenneth Bishop (Kim Lussier) of Hudson, NH.
