WALLINGFORD - James R. Williams, Jr, 57, departed this life unexpectedly on May 31, 2021. Loving father to Ryan J. Williams (Ashley).

James was born in Meriden, CT on July 19, 1963 to Ann (Zambory) Williams and the late James R. Williams Sr. He was also predeceased by his former wife, Joleen Dixey Williams.

He grew up in Wallingford and was a 1982 graduate of Lyman Hall High School. James was a big fan of the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and Nascar. He also enjoyed fishing.

Besides his son and mother, James is survived by his sister; Debbie Marino (Angelo), his brother Greg Williams (Jennifer) and his niece Sydney Williams.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 7:00 PM at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. The family will receive visitors on Monday, prior to the funeral service from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
