Javier Ocasio

WATERBURY - Javier Ocasio, 49, departed this life on July 28, 2016 at his home. Javier was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on July 29, 1966 to Israel Ocasio and Hilda Cardoza. In addition to his parents, Javier is survived by his loving partner of many years Ric Browne; three sisters: Janet and Maria Cardoza and Lizzette Ocasio; five brothers: Lewis Alberto, Lewis Antonio, Richard and Hector Ocasio and Carlos Cardoza. He was predeceased by Israel Ocasio Jr and Daniel Ocasio.
He was employed as a hair stylist at Sal's Barbershop and formally employed at C&C Hair Design - both located at the Brass City Mall. He was recently accepted to pursue culinary studies. He was a gradate of The Connecticut Institute of Hair Design and he enjoyed building rock walls, working on his yard and spending time with his family and friends. He was kind soul and loved his family and friends deeply. He was always there to support his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
