Kenneth Stedman Tribute

NORTH STONINGTON - Kenneth Stedman, 74, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2022 at his home which he built with his wife and children. He was born in Rhode Island on  May 16, 1947 to the late George Stedman and Ruth (Crider) Stedman.

Ken served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Pawcatuck VFW Post 1265. He enjoyed playing pool, watching NASCAR, and sitting around a campfire. He loved his fury pets Pepe and Zoe and took them on daily rides.  He was a friend to all and always willing to lend a helping hand and will be dearly missed. The family is grateful to "Denny" Dennis Mellow for his friendship, support, and loving care.

Ken leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Deborah Stedman; his daughter, Laurie Stedman Iturrino and her husband Wil Iturrino; his son Brian Stedman; and his daughter, Sonya Stedman. He also leaves his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Daniel Iturrino, Rebecca Iturrino, Elizabeth Stedman, Savannah Otka, and Dawson Buckner.  In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his younger brother, Earl Stedman, who passed away five years ago and with whom he had a close relationship.

Interment will be held at the CT State Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pawcatuck VFW post 1265. To leave a message of remembrance visit www.BaileyCares.com
