WALLINGFORD - Lorraine Bimonte Devaney passed away on November 12, 2022. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Devaney, Sr.
She was born in Hamden on August 6, 1930 to the late Daniel A and Mary (Jawor) Bimonte. A long time Wallingford resident, she was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church and a graduate of Holy Trinity School and Lyman Hall High school. She received her Bachelor's from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she became a dental hygienist. She worked for Dr. Joseph R. Flynn for many years. She was the longtime chairperson of the Wallingford Public Celebration Committee and past president of the Women's Intermediate Club.
Lorraine is survived by her sons: Robert J. Devaney, Jr., and Kevin J. Devaney and his wife Susan; and her grandchildren: Kaitlin Devaney, Ryan Devaney, and Robert J. Devaney III. Services will be private. Gifts in her memory may be made to Holy Trinity School, 11 N. Whittlesey Ave., Wallingford, CT 06492. B.C.
