Marjorie Catherine (McCoy) Flom

Marjorie Catherine Flom (McCoy), 93, of Meriden, CT, passed peacefully on March 30, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Marge, otherwise known fondly as "Nana" or "Toots," graduated from Utica College as a registered nurse and worked at Utica State Psychiatric Hospital before meeting-and proposing!-to her husband Roy G. Flom.   Married for 51 years they raised three children in Massachusetts and Connecticut, before retiring to Ford's Colony in Williamsburg, VA to spend their days on the golf course. 

Full of spunk and the life of the party, Marge enjoyed a glass of chardonnay, but most of all she enjoyed being together with friends and family. She was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge with the Women's Club at the Cheshire Senior Center. She was always happy to share her stories of traveling to various countries around the world. The souvenirs around her home inspired many memories to share with anyone who came to visit. 

Marge was predeceased by her husband Roy G. Flom and her son, John E. Flom of Salem, MA.  She is survived by her two daughters Cindy Czaplinski and Kathy Bainer, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
