Paul James Pagella

WALLINGFORD - Paul Pagella, 75, departed this life on May 27, 2023, at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved spouse of Carolyn Hartley Pagella. 

Paul was born in New Britain, CT on April 27, 1948, the youngest child to the late Olis and Dorothy Wilson Pagella. For almost thirty years Paul owned and operated a small convenience store in South Meriden along with his brother Carl Pagella and his late sister Lois Dionne, where he loved conversing with the customers. Paul also worked at Walgreens for several years afterwards, where he got to know many others and enjoyed working to pass his time. Paul also loved watching old movies, westerns, and spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pagella, and his only daughter, Kimberly Lilienthal and her husband James, along with his brother, Carl Pagella. Paul also leaves behind two precious grandsons, Tyler and Ryan Lilienthal. Paul's family would like to thank the administrators and all of Paul's caregivers at Glastonbury Health Care Center in Glastonbury, CT, for their assistance and daily care.
