Philip S. Cook, III

CROMWELL - Philip S. Cook III, born on April 27, 1966, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2020 after a long courageous battle with COPD.

Philip was the son of Martha and Philip Cook, Jr.  He was born on an Air Force base in Indiana and then moved with his parents to Newport News, VA.  When he was five, they settled down in Wallingford, CT where he grew up and attended school.  As a young person, Philip worked at the Wallingford Burger King for almost 20 years.  He then made a career change and went to business school to become a computer technician which was a joy for him.  Phil had a good sense of humor and was often able to laugh at many of life's zany occurrences. Phil loved his sister, Sam, video games, and his cat, Jack - not always in that sequence.

Phil is survived by his sister Samantha Olson and her husband Tom; his nephew Shane; his aunt Ruth Harris; and his cousin Russ Warner. Besides his parents, Phil was predeceased by his nephew, Trevor and his stepfather Randy Floberg.
