Robert Liebler Tribute

Robert M. “Bob” Liebler, 69, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, of Plainville, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Norma (Lemieux) Liebler. He was born in New Britain, on June 11, 1949, to the late William Warren and Antoinette Marie (Satalino) Liebler, and graduated from New Britain High School.

He was a longtime resident of Plainville, and a member of Faith Living Church, in Plantsville. Bob was a devoted Christian, always keeping his faith in God. Bob dedicated his life to working hard to provide for his family.

He was a jack of all trades, and there was never a task too hard for him to take on. He spent many years in the tree removal business, formerly owning his own company, Pro Tree Removal, and after retirement continued to do side jobs.

He was a man of many talents, and enjoyed several hobbies including, but certainly not limited to: fishing, gardening, dancing with his grandchildren, playing foosball, and playing a tune on his harmonica and guitar. He lived life to the fullest, always keeping a positive outlook, and had a great sense of humor. He was a very outgoing, personable man, and was able to hold a conversation for hours with anyone. Above all else, Bob found the most joy in being surrounded by his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed, leaving behind many cherished memories for his loved ones to hold on to.

In addition to his wife, Norma, Bob is survived by his children: Sara Kramer and her husband, Dave, Nicholas Liebler and his wife, Jacqueline, Hannah Veach and her husband, Michael, Martha Liebler, Simeon Liebler, Leah Liebler and Kaya Liebler; his grandchildren, Brayden, Julian, Elijiah and Jonah Kramer, Stella and Sienna Liebler, Shaelin, Kenzie, and Briley Veach; his brother, William W. Liebler III and his wife, Denise; his sister-in-law, Nancy Mala and his favorite brother-in-law, Michael Mala; his nephews, Billy Liebler, Casey Liebler, Mark Liebler, Philip Serafino, Christopher Mala; his nieces, Kerry Rossi, Lauren Serafino, and Katie Mala; and close friend and cousin, Kris Mazza. In addition he leaves behind many cousins, close friends, his church family and his loving Pastor friends, Thomas Vergato, Ron Thomas, and Ronnie Brackett. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Liebler and many aunts and uncles.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 5 to 8 PM, at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, CT 06062.
