Robert McCarthy, 67, beloved Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on April 7, 2021. He entered this world on September 12, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, born to Robert and Eleanor Behrens McCarthy. At a young age, "Bob" moved to Connecticut and has been living in West Haven with his life long friend Jack Lawler. Bob earned his Associate in Science degree from Gateway Community College in 1996. He worked at several New Alliance Bank branches and currently had been enjoying his retirement. Bob enjoyed spending time with his many friends, shopping and decorating for Christmas. His greatest pleasure was helping and giving to others. Bob is survived by his brother Vinnie Natter (Carmel Carriere), sisters Linda McCarthy and Lisa Natter, nieces and nephews Douglas McCarthy, Mistie Possemato Drews, Jessica Possemato Hernandez, Andrew and Theodore Paecht, Brian, Priscylla, Christyna and Heather Gauthier and Caroline and Vincent Carriere, and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael McCarthy. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Donations can be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
