Ryan Theodore Morton

Ryan T. Morton, 36, of Southington passed away on February 9, 2021 suddenly. 

He grew up in Southington and attended Southington schools. He loved sports. Baseball and fishing were his passion. He was a compassionate person who loved children and animals. He was known for bringing home stray, abandoned dogs and cats to give them a better life. Ryan attended barber school and had dreams of having his own business.

He is survived by his father, Gary R. Morton (and Pat Desroches); his mother, Carol Morton; his sister, Ashley Cartagena (and Juan); his nieces: Jaylynn and Avalee; his grandmother, Elizabeth Betty Szostak; aunt, Kathryn Carubba; uncles: Rick Morton (and Diane) and Donald Carubba; cousins: Ricky and Nicole and Amy Peacock (and Lee) and their sons: Austin and Cameron. Ryan will be greeted in heaven by his paternal grandparents: Frederick A. Morton and Jane H. Morton; his uncle: Jeffrey Morton; and his maternal grandfather, Theodore Teddy Szostak.

There are no calling hours. A celebration of Ryans life will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Bailey Funeral Home of Plainville.
