FUNERAL SERVICE
A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a gathering to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a more traditional ceremony or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help you in any way that we can.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without your loved one physically present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place, your home or other venue.
BURIAL
A casket burial is a service with many options you can choose from. We can provide you with a wide range of options to help you make a selection specific to your needs; a visitation, viewing or wake with a closed or open casket; a funeral service at our funeral home, church or private home and a graveside service at a cemetery. You can choose whether you’d like a public or private service or a combination. It is entirely up to you how you wish to pay your respects.
CREMATION
Cremation is a popular option for many people for a wide variety of reasons. You can have a traditional funeral service before a cremation or a memorial service at any time with or without the urn present. You can keep the urn, scatter the cremated remains or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium. When choosing a cremation, we’re here to offer you a meaningful ceremony.

PARTING STONES
After the cremation, remains are solidified into stone. A natural, solid option cleaner and more manageable than cremains. The solidification process for an adult returns the full amount of remains as an average of 40-60 solids depending on the amount of ash provided. The appearance of each set will vary naturally in shape, color, and texture making each collection of solidified remains uniquely beautiful. Click here to learn more.

URN ARK
Our urn carrier provides a means to transport cremated remains with elegance and respect. Participation is an essential element in honoring a loved one. The honor of serving as a pall bearer provides a way for family and friends alike to engage in a final act of care.
GREEN BURIAL
An environmentally conscious alternative, returning the body to the earth in a most natural way. The body is either shrouded in cloth or placed in a totally green certified (wood or wicker) casket designed to break down organically in the soil. There is no formaldehyde embalming or burial vault.
ETERNEVA
The brightness and positivity of a diamond is a truly remarkable way to carry your loved one with you, to continue their story. The carbon that composes either cremated remains or human hair is used to create a custom diamond.

CERTIFIED CELEBRANTS
A Celebrant is a person who seeks to meet the needs of families during their time of loss. They serve by providing a funeral service that is personalized to reflect the personality and life-style of the deceased. This is an excellent option for families that may not be part of a religious community or is seeking an alternative approach to finding an officiant for a life celebration.

We are the only funeral home in Connecticut that offers Hope - our grief therapy dog! Hope comes by invitation only to help those families that wish to have a little extra comfort during a challenging time. Hope is a golden doodle - a breed known for their "hypoallergenic" coats, affection and intelligence.
We were the first funeral homes in Connecticut to offer the services of a grief therapy dog.
